Click here for a site that discusses a bunch of different IRA’s and the rules that govern them. No matter where you are in your life, you should consider an IRA. This is an excellent add on to your employers retirement plan or whatever money you are saving every month. This is also great if you like to make your own investment decisions. Certain types of IRA’s allow you to invest your money in whatever you want.
Thus, if you feel you can beat the funds or don’t have enough money to have your retirement accounts professionally managed, the IRA may be for you. You can contribute to your fund whenever you want. Some people put away small amounts monthly, while others only make single contributions at the beginning or end of every year. Either way is great as long as the money makes it into the account one way or another.
