Did That Deal Really Just Happen?

When was the last time you had one of those sales calls? You know the one where you finish and think to yourself, did that really just happen. Was it really that easy? Or more commonly for me, why can’t they all happen this way. There’s really nothing better then the feeling of closing a big deal and for a salesperson you live for that moment. It quickly becomes your go-to story to pump up the team, motivate yourself to make that extra call and your example for closing other deals. In looking for a sales training tool to help create more of those classic sales moments it was hard. I mean, how do you recreate the conversation, the questions, the answers, the spirit of the deal to help train others? It’s not so much about sales tactics as it is truly creating a platform or place where knowledge transfer can happen among a team. Youtube sometimes works but creating your own “moments” is what it’s all about.
